TSUCS is a student lead organization who's mission is to create awareness, aid, encourage, and guide technology students with tech skills, soft skills, and professional development. We also aim to bridge the gap and foster creativity, collaboration, and understanding between tech and non-tech related students. For more information checkout our website: TSUCS
A hackathon is where you turn your crazy ideas into real stuff. Hundreds of hackers will gather and build something they're passionate about. You take care of building. We'll take care of you.
HackHouston is free for all admitted participants. We’ll have WiFi, food, workshops, and awesome swag during the entire 24 hours you’ll be with us.
Participants are encouraged to work in teams, however, it is not mandatory. If you don’t have a teammate, we’ll hold a team-formation workshop where you can meet your new best friend. Also, 4 people per team is the limit.
Anyone! HackHouston is open to all backgrounds and skill levels. You must be 18 years of age or older by the date of HackHouston.
A laptop, charger, and photo ID. You may also bring your own hardware. If you plan to stay over night we encourage you to bring sleeping gear and toiletries.
Unfortunately there will be no travel reimbursements.
That's OK. We will have mentors there to assist you with any problems you may and provide guidance as you work on your project.
HackHouston 2019 will be located at Texas Southern University in
the recreation center.
